January 1st, 2009Happy New Year 2009 everyone! 366 wonderful days of 2008 has finally come to an end, and we now welcome another 365 wonderful days in 2009! Like last year, this year was as challenging as always, especially with Ochibichan’s official retirement, but we managed to overcome all of those obstacles! Without a doubt, Ochibichan-scan wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for all the Ochibichan-scan Family members! Whether they’re new, old or have already left us, they’ve all done their part in molding us to what we are now! So, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our current members, previous members, joint partners, channel lurkers/idlers/friends, affiliates and readers for all the support you guys have given to OS! I hope 2009 will be as great as this year, and everyone will continue to support us! 宜しくお願いします! Well, it wouldn’t be a real celebration if there weren’t releases, right?! So to honour 2008, we’re releasing a whopping total of EIGHT chapters!: Aren’t you guys a bunch of spoiled leechers XP? Happy New Year 2009!! ~mioka | posted under news.December 25th, 2008Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas everyone! The time of giving, sharing, loving and all things nice is finally here! I’m sure everyone must have been waiting very impatiently for this day to finally come! Do drop by our IRC channel to abuse- *cough* use the lovely !xmas trigger set up by HikawaRyuuki. If you’ve been naughty, Santa Yotsuba-chan will just crawl up the chimney, but if you’ve been nice, she’ll give you some surprising gifts! Once again, we’re having a birthday release! Today is our dearest editor, Nibynoga’s birthday! She has been with us for only sixth months, but she has already contributed so much to us~! So please wish her a big happy birthday! Not only are we celebrating Nibynoga’s birthday, we’d also like to congratulate our other editor, Craxx, because… she’s going to be a mother! Yay! Future chibi minions for Ochibichan! *cough*… So what are we releasing today? None other than the long awaited chapter 2 of Lemon no Himegoto! This is a very cute and sweet story, which has the master and slave theme in it, but it’s definitely not like the usual master/slave series we always read! We’re also releasing another chapter of Saikou no Kiss wo Ageru- Love Lover! This is the prequel to Love Honey, and tells how the Misaki and Shinji got together. So read and find out (; Well, unfortunately today’s post is not all good news… Since Craxx is now pregnant, she’ll soon be leaving us so she can devote her time to her real family and her baby. Thus, we now need another editor to help take over her project, Gakkou no Ojikan. If anyone is interested (including our own staff), please feel free to e-mail us! Also, I’m sure everyone has noticed that the chatterbox has been removed. Like I said a few months ago, if I can’t stand the annoying comments like ‘When are you going to releases XXX’ or something similar, we’d removed it, and so we did. Because it’s my sister’s birthday! And my sister is none other than my editor slave Cheezy~! So today’s releases are for a birthday release for my dear sister! Today, we’re releasing chapter 3 of Buriki no Kanzume! More fun and suspense at the Crafting Club, as Itsuru-kun and Nabiki-chan try their best to meet a tight deadline! We’re also releasing chapter 14 of Sprout! The story is taking a turn for an even more exciting road, hopefully everything would end well! Hope everyone enjoys the releases! None other than RedLotys~! She’s one of our wonderful and hardworking proofreaders who does some of our wonderful series like Pink no Idenshi, Seishun Survival and many, many more! So be sure to wish her a big happy birthday~! For today, we decided to release two of our most loved/popular series! We present you with Lovely Complex chapter 56 and Kiss chapter 31! With these two released together, I think it’s about time we announce which project will be the next priority project after we finish Lovely Complex. After much invalid votes removed, the winner for the poll is none other than Kiss! Now, we know there are a lot of Dengeki Daisy fans, some even going to the extent to vote alooooot of times, but since Kiss only has around 2 volumes left before we wrap up this series, I don’t think it would be that long before you guys can see a more constant release for DD (; Though, it will always help if someone was willing to apply to help translate DD, with the main translator on semi-leave now, we would really like to have a few dedicated translators to help out (: Well, enjoy the releases! Everyone does! Today we’re wishing our lovely Angelintheice a happy, happy birthday! She’s the wonderful sla- QC who makes sure our releases have minimum-error for everyone’s viewing pleasure! So be sure to wish her a happy birthday! For Angelintheice’s birthday, we’ll be releasing a new series by Nakahara Aya-sensei- Love! Love! Love! chapter 1! With this series released, we’ve finally completed our goal of doing most of Nakahara Aya’s manga, now the next goal is to actually finish them… Anyway~! Other than LLL, we’re also releasing the very long awaited chapter 30 of Kiss! We apologize for the super long wait for this series, but we hope some kind soul will apply to help us translate this so we can release this more regularly. *hint hint*~ Well, we’re still looking for dedicated translators to fill in Elcrane’s spot.
